Planning a budget and keeping track of where your money is going can be quite overwhelming when organising a wedding.
It’s easy to have a figure in mind for your budget but there may be parts of the wedding that you may have forgotten about, not known about or underestimated eg wedding insurance, hair, gifts.
As a couple, you need to sit down and come up with a realistic budget that you can stick to. This all depends on, do you have savings? Do you have help from family members? What can you afford to put away and save each month?
Small items that don’t seem too expensive can soon add up over a few months or years!
Take a look at 10 Money Saving Ideas (prettyweddingday.com) to see if you can save some cash.
Nobody wants to get halfway through planning a wedding to realise that there’s not going to be enough money and they need to cut back on what they wanted.
We’ve put together a wedding budget checklist to help you keep track of your spending.
We have left enough room here to write your budget price and then to make changes when you start to collect your quotes.
This checklist is only a guide so don’t feel that you need everything on the list, also add items that you want that haven’t been included on here.
At the bottom of the page is a PDF for you to print out at home for yourself.
