Wedding Receptions are held in the Avalon Ballroom, the hotels largest interior space.
Reception packages have a list of items included and are priced per person, including –

In the wedding brochure you will find plenty of menu options of plated dinners or a buffet style service.
There is the option to customize your menu with optional action stations to make it personal to you.
Reception Enhancements include –
Desert Stations with a selection of treats for your guests.
Late night stations with options such as – Build your own taco station or make your own nacho bar station!
A children’s menu is available for the under 10’s providing a three course meal to suit.
Vendor meals are also available on request.
One of my favourite items in the brochure is the Custom Wedding Cakes section! Cake designers are available to create a one of a kind wedding cake just for you! Pick from a variety of flavours such as vanilla, red velvet or chocolate. Choose fillings and icing to create a perfect cake made to your taste.
House specialties are also in the options, where gluten free and vegan are available on request.
Pick a dessert bar with three miniature selections with options like chocolate dipped cheese cake lollies!
If your looking to start the celebrations with a rehearsal dinner, then this can be arranged in one of the indoor or outdoor settings.
Choose from The Kitchen or The Palm restaurants, other Universal on-site hotels or one of the many venues of Universal CityWalk including The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen, Bubba Gump Shrimp and Co or Hard Rock Cafe.
If that’s not enough of a party for you, there’s the choice of an after party following your rehearsal dinner or wedding day. Party at the Velvet Bar at Hard Rock Hotel that offers an outdoor veranda overlooking the pool!
Before you leave the hotel to go home or on honeymoon, there is an option to book a farewell brunch for your family and friends to say thank you.
